Overview:

National Debt Relief (NDR) is currently seeking a seasoned, hands-on, and highly motivated individual to lead our Salesforce architecture practice. This role’s primary objective is to design scalable solutions inside of Salesforce, including automations, integrations, and identity and access management. Working closely with both product & business stakeholders to understand the vision and then collaborate with Salesforce and other application owners and Cloud architects to create a unified design with minimal tech debt.


The successful candidate will be a passionate Salesforce enthusiast, developer of people, and creator of solutions that will lead the various architecture principles, including integration strategy, data modeling, record archival, system and record security, and solution architecture. Experience with Salesforce and AWS together will be advantageous to this individual, as well as excellent communication skills, who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast paced environment. The candidate must be comfortable speaking to both product and developer audiences and have a solid track record of building out enterprise solutions at scale. The candidate will influence a growing team while acting as a technical guide, being able to both speak conceptually and be comfortable doing hands on coding as well.


This remote role will work with a growing team of technical professionals and will be a critical position will allow the NDR product and development team to deliver solutions at scale without introducing more tech debt.


Responsibilities:
  • Design scalable solutions using a mixture of configuration and code to support business functions and product goals, knowing how to work in and around the limits of the platform.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce-centric architecture diagrams, including system landscape, ERD, integration sequence flows, login flows, etc. of current state and future.
  • Communicate with product owners, business stakeholders, and developers to ensure a cohesive technical strategy is designed and executed upon.
  • Be part of the entire development lifecycle of a product from the intake, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Support and maintain current Salesforce instance(s), including the data model, coding best practices, user permissions, integrations with third party and internal applications, security settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects including ongoing evaluation and re-ordering of priorities as business needs dictate.
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from stakeholders, colleagues, and leaders.
  • Flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements.
  • Have fun, get creative, and deliver value together with the whole team.
Qualifications:
  • Excitement for designing, implementing, and evolving a Salesforce ecosystem for its current state.
  • Ability to both write Apex and configure flows as well as evaluate the current org for redundancies, security risks, etc.
  • Strong and effective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Aura/LWC components, and 3rd party API integrations (such as E-sign) is preferred.
  • Passionate learner and contributor of innovative ideas and execution.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile project management process and tools like Jira/Confluence.
  • Independent and comfortable in an evolving and fast paced work environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Required
    • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce technical architect.
    • 10+ years of experience with Salesforce technology, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC/Aura components.
    • 5+ years of experience with source control and SDLC practices, including Github, Gearset, or similar.
    • Experience with agile methodology
  • Nice to have
    • Salesforce architect certifications
    • Software development experience
    • Experience working in financial services industry

Compensation Information: Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $165K - $215K.
