Senior Project Manager Job at Republic National Distributing Company
Overview: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to perform the role of project manager for medium and large size and complexity projects across multiple areas of the business implementing various technology and application suites in support of critical business operations, in such a way as to meet and exceed the company’s objectives by performing the following duties. Responsibilities:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change Qualifications: 2 or 4-year degree (education, mgmt, MIS, Business)Prior project management experience is a plusBusiness Analyst or any accredited Business Analyst certificationsMember of an accredited Project bodyCertification in one or more project methodologies Expert skills with any project management tools.
