What you’ll do

The IT Security organization bears the broad responsibilities of delivering information security, practice governance & assurance, and data loss prevention throughout the TJX enterprise. Our worldwide team applies expertise and deep business understanding to ensure confidence for all company associates, investors, and customers.


As a Security Product Owner, you will facilitate strategy and solutions for our Security Monitoring (SecMon) Product Team. You will leverage your security knowledge and experience, including frameworks such as NIST CSF and adversary practices (MITRE ATT&CK) to create an 18-month roadmap in partnership with your Product Manager and senior engineers, prioritizing objectives for Services delivered to TJX by the Security Monitoring product team. You will set a clear direction for your team’s services to increase productivity and maximize value delivered to your customers by leading planning sessions, story refinement, maintaining service roadmaps and participating in quarterly business reviews with key vendors. You will work closely with Security Monitoring stakeholders and serve as the voice of the customer to prioritize work, align teams you depend on for delivery, and achieve buy-in to SecMon services.


What you’ll need

We seek creative and driven security-minded professionals to provide hands-on talent and social expertise in protecting TJX and its assets. You'll work with engineers, Scrum Masters, business partners, and other security professionals to adapt and improve our security posture in applications, infrastructure, and cloud modernization efforts.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an agile delivery framework, strategy or requirement development or Product Owner role
  • 2+ years’ experience with Security governance, processes, and security control alignment in a regulated industry (SOX, PCI, GxP, GLBA, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Demonstrated drive to support high-performing engineering teams through pragmatic capacity planning, work prioritization, and protecting engineers from distractions
  • Experience with (preferred) or knowledge of Security Monitoring capabilities such as SIEM, CSPM, Security Automation (SOAR) from vendors such as Splunk, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Pager Duty, Everbridge.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Related BA/BS degree in IT or Business, or equivalent experience
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or ITIL (v4) knowledge/certification preferred
  • Experience deploying technical solutions in a regulated environment (SOX, PCI, GxP, GLBA)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security technologies or operations
  • Knowledge of Security Monitoring & Automation concepts and best practices: security orchestration, detection & response frameworks, zero trust architecture/ZTNA
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies
