THE ROLE

The mission is to make quality music education accessible to anyone, anywhere in the world who wants to pick up and instrument. As a Senior Product Manager you would have the opportunity to help lead and scale a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and others as they work to make that goal a reality.

This role is fully remote - preference for Chicago based candidates.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You'll be the product manager in charge of all of our student facing and internal applications. That means: Being finally responsible for hitting product OKRs and KPIs.
  • Owning quarterly roadmapping.
  • Seeking and synthesizing data & student feedback to create new feature ideas.
  • Tracking the success of the product features that we launch and continuously improve upon them based on metrics and student feedback.
  • Driving product features through their entire product development cycle.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Previous Senior Product Manager experience at a B2C SaaS company.
  • Extreme empathy for each individual student.
  • Deep understanding of and comfort with data. Ability to use both to discover new opportunities and to prove impact of existing opportunities.
  • Intuitive understanding of engineering constraints. Some basic technical understanding of applications, platforms, and services.
  • Accountable. High standards for team productivity.
  • Hands-on. Willing and eager to learn new skills to help out the team. Nothing is too low level.
  • Bias towards action. Sees an opportunity and goes after it. Takes immediate initiative.
