The Senior Process Engineer will provide engineering support in the areas of product and process development, troubleshooting, cost (yield and labor efficiency) improvement, product quality process development, troubleshooting, improvement, and cycle time reduction.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as Project Leader for continuous improvement and corrective action teams.

  • Work with Product Development (T&I) follow the New Product Development process completing the Manufacturing sections related to BOM/Routers Reviews, Travelers, Work Instructions, SPC, training, etc.

  • Work with Quality Engineering to develop and implement Statistical Process Controls for assigned production processes. Provide support in the collection and interpretation of metric data (e.g. SPC charting).

  • Complete Continuous Improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma & Lean techniques that improve key metrics (Cost of Quality, Customer Complaint metrics, Yield, Productivity).

  • Act as the 8D champion for complaint resolution including root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventative actions for any complaints for the assigned area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering.

  • Minimum 4 years engineering experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.

  • SAP knowledge a plus.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

  • Process Safety Management (PSM) and/or Project Management experience a plus.

  • Must be able to travel as needed to vendors and/or customers domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
