Hours: Mon.-Fri., 8AM to 4:30PM & Every 3rd Weekend

Now Hiring - IV Pharmacy Technician Supervisor - East Windsor, CT.
Hours: Mon.-Fri., 8AM to 4:30PM & Every 3rd Weekend
The IV Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Knows and can perform all duties as assigned to the IV Pharmacy Technician
- Create staff schedules
- Assist as needed with ordering of new inventory/supplies
- Daily management and scheduling of the Pharmacy Technicians & IV Billing personnel
- Help to establish, coordinate, and maintain daily work functions
- Oversee job performance of technical personnel in accordance with established standards
- Assures the competency of technical staff, when needed assist in performance improvement
- Aid in the screening, selection, hiring, and orientation process for new staff
- Provide ongoing staff support and development for the department
- Ability to step in and complete all IV Technician job duties, as needed
- Ability to assist the Pharmacist in answering phone calls
- Responsible for calling PRN�s, TPN�s, Narcotics, & outliers that need approval
- Responsible for IV returns from facilities on a daily basis
- Assist in setting up new facilities
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Professional Experience:
- 2-4 years of IV Pharmacy Technician experience
- Supervisory experience, preferred
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration within the state of operations
- PTCB, a plus
