about this team
The Senior Manager, Fulfillment Optimization is a critical position in driving North America Fulfillment risk management and establishing a Center of Excellence to deliver invaluable fulfillment insights to our key channel partners globally. The role will report to the Director, Fulfillment Planning, leading a team of analysts to develop the program and deliver on key mandates in this highly cross-functional role. This role can expect to laise directly with leaders throughout the organization including but not limited to Financial Planning & Analysis, Ecom & Retail Channel Operations, Merchandise Planning & S&OP, DC Operations, Logistics, Fulfillment Engineering & Strategy teams.

a day in the life

  • Establish Fulfillment Planning Analytics COE, with particular focus on launching Channel leadership forums and developing scorecards to showcase end-to-end fulfillment KPIs specific to specific channels and market segments
  • Steer X-functional leadership forums to align channel demands, inventory placement, DC Network fulfillment capabilities and space capacities on a rolling 12-month timeline, managing risk in a collaborative, consensus driven environment.
  • Optimize the complex and highly cross-functional Peak Fulfillment Readiness strategy, including driving year-round risk management conversations with senior leadership groups throughout the organization.
  • Leverage both operational and financial expertise to support management of fulfilment network operations and identifying/quantifying impacts of decisions on financials, leaning on your strong communication and engagement skills with partners to surface risks & options
  • Partner with Global market partners, technology and other COE groups to identify & prioritize data availability and alignment of additional KPIs, scaling to a global model.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, leveraging the team’s experiences and analysis to successfully deliver fulfillment-based business insights to manage risk and highlight solutions. Leverage deep end-to-end understanding of Fulfillment network structure to partner with other functional teams to enrich collective insights.
  • Establish and maintain a series of operational playbooks to manage Service & revenue risks of unplanned network disruptions with our cross-functional channel stakeholders
qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines and scopes simultaneously; including ability to plan, budget and manage project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to align leadership team members to a set of recommendations, plans and drive decision making.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, including some working knowledge of distribution, logistics, and trade compliance networks
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to lead and conduct complex network modeling and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and foster this within your team.
  • Strong experience with MS Powerpoint, Excel, Word necessary. Experience with Power BI, SQL and JIRA preferred.
  • Undisputed integrity, personal and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field - Business, Data Analytics, statistics, mathematics preferred.
  • 5-10 years minimum experience
