Job Description

The Senior Financial Analystwill provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting support for the Moen brand under the US Wholesale business unit. This position will be exposed to the financial results of Moen’s U.S business units, including actual results, forecast, annual plan and variance analysis. In this role you will support strategic initiatives around customer growth & profitability, trade spend efficiencies, and process improvement.

Key Business Partners:Wholesale Sales teams, Channel Marketing, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Finance, FP&A, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Business Intelligence (BI)

This can be a hybridrole based out of our North Olmsted, OH or Deerfield, IL offices. Candidates should expect to work in office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Perform annual operating plan and monthly sales forecast roll-ups and submissions in coordination with Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Administrative Cost Center owners
  • Communicate Wholesale Net Sales business drivers (Gross-to-Net) to P&L owners during monthly forecast and close processes
  • Support annual contract negotiations/renewals to ensure financial viability of outcome
  • Support contract execution with customers, including payments, accruals, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Provide finance support and guidance to sales teams and effectively counsel and influence business partners in decision making on investments and spending
  • Partner with Sales and Channel to evaluate business proposals (terms, pricing, promotions, new distribution, etc.)
  • Work with Sales, Channel/Segment Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, and Business Intelligence teams to establish Trade strategies and evaluate opportunities for Trade efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and strive for process continuous improvement
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support, as necessary
  • Complete monthly journal entries and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, etc.) is required;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial analysis experience is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA, CPA and/or CMA is preferred
  • Proven analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of SAP and BPC is preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel modeling, data management, and translating information into meaningful insights and presentations
