Moog Space and Defense Group in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Level III) to join our Production Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment in accordance with specified procedures in an assembly line
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Use of basic hand tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc.
  • Keep records of production quantities and time
  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Perform pneumatic and electrical testing of assemblies to meet planning and drawing requirements.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
  • Assist in training people that are not familiar with a job.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

We'll be looking for you to have the following:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years or more of experience assembling complex electrical/mechanical components
  • Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure, and lead others to do the same
  • Experience with mechanical controls is preferred
  • Basic/Intermediate computer skills
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
  • This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
