Senior Electrical Engineer

• Serve as hands-on, technical leader in developing electrical designs for new products and supporting existing product lines

• Establish design goals and specifications for development efforts

• Create documentation for electrical circuit designs, and support designs using internal and external resources

• Prepare for and lead electrical design reviews, and contribute to system-level design reviews

• Lead the verification of electrical subsystem designs, including generation of protocols and reports

• Prepare engineering change documentation

• Lead the support of contract manufacturers for supply of PCBAs and components

• Address field issues by determining root cause and implementing corrective actions as necessary

• Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned Senior Electrical Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related degree, plus a minimum of ten years of electrical design experience for medical devices
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with medical device safety and regulatory standards

• Proven experience with digital and analog design, including microprocessor-based electromechanical design, motor control, power supplies, and battery controller designs

• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools

• Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be detail oriented and organized

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven track record working in a fast-paced environment
