Senior Electrical Engineer Job at Insight Global
Must Haves:
- 8+ years as an Electrical Engineer
- Understanding of obsolence components and problem solving to find solutions
- Familiar with requirements, specifications, and other documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- Strong communication and willingness to work cross functionally with government customers and other engineers
Plusses:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Previous ground combat vehicle experience
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer to join one of our biggest defense clients out of Warren, MI. This person will be responsible for understanding obsolete components and how to continue to make systems run. This person will work alongside a Senior Mechanical Engineer. They will interface with suppliers, government customers, and other engineers daily. This role does not require people to go down to the board level - this role functions at a higher level of problem-solving obsolete components on combat vehicles/combat equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: $100.00 - $140.00 per year
