Senior Corporate Accountant

The Corporate Accounting Team is looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to assist the corporate accounting function and the financial reporting group. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is an outstanding opportunity for someone seeking to grow his or her career in an exciting, collaborative team environment.

As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will:

  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the Company’s Corporate ledgers.
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and yearend close and consolidation process for the consolidated Company.
  • Assist with the preparation of the 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and XBRL tagging.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for several Corporate managed areas, (cash, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Accruals).
  • Assist with the preparation of technical accounting analyses, including, but not limited to:
    • ASC 606 - revenue recognition
    • Annual goodwill impairment testing
    • Annual trade name impairment testing
    • Stock based compensation
    • Healthcare liabilities
    • Derivative accounting and hedging
  • Work directly with internal and external auditors to support the Company’s accounting positions and audit processes.
  • Assist with other special accounting projects, as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of Public Accounting experience, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required
  • CPA or working towards certification, preferred
  • Experience with FASB Accounting Standards Codification research and SEC disclosure requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
