Senior C3BM Systems Engineer

Purpose:
Hill Technical Solutions (HTS), a division of Valkyrie Enterprises, is looking for a Senior C3BM Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
- Work with our Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts which includes engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.
- Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements.
- Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
- Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and at least 12 years of experience.
- Must have knowledge of LRDR and TPY-2 (FBM) interoperability.
- Must be proficient in system engineering and execution processes.
- Must have the ability to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer a self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Prefer the ability to work in a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment.
- Prefer familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain the clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional Travel; 25% or less.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
