The primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst, Sandoz Medicaid position is to act as additional support to the IQVIA team during the invoice processing period.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Approve Medicaid Payments in IQVIA “PAM” system
  • Research historical inquiries from states
  • Send payment remittance to states as needed
  • Liaison between SDZ GP and IQVIA on ad hoc URA inquiries
  • Gather documentation to support periodic internal and external audits. Present evidence during audit and assure compliance.
  • Support internal parties with product and state specific Medicaid information
  • Perform miscellaneous ad hoc reporting to multiple departments in SDZ
  • Collaborate with Novartis side of the business to share industry news and updated trends
  • Prepare and present cash flow forecasts on a monthly basis to SDZ leadership and Novartis accounting teams
  • Support leadership with legislative impacts on the business segment

This position will require travel to the East Hanover, NJ office. Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of analytical or relevant experience
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess the accuracy of claims submitted
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to successfully interact within all levels of the corporation, with federal and state representatives and all service vendors
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple priorities at once
  • Desire to problem solve and look deeper into industry trends
  • Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office Suite products

Desirable
  • Degree area in Business, Finance or related discipline preferred
  • Model N, Revitas, or other Medicaid Processing System experience
  • Working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State programs
  • Medicaid or Government Reporting experience
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business functions

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $84,000.00 and $126,000.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
