Provide assistance to System Manager of Expenditure Control and Financial Analyst (Finance-Accounts Payable) in the accurate recording, auditing, matching, and processing of all invoices. Implement and adhere to proper checks and balances over all invoices, receiving reports, and other Accounts Payable documents. Review and verify all Accounts Payable reports. Timely and accurately process invoices in accordance with CCH and County policies and procedures. Report to management. Communicate timely and accurately with CCH staff, County staff, and vendors.

Typical Duties

  • Implement existing procedures for recording and processing Accounts Payable transactions with accuracy timely.
  • Assist in the operation of the automated Accounts Payable system.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable records and reports, following the established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the audit and confirmation of all disbursement to vendors to ensure proper payment.
  • Answer questions from CCH staff, County staff, and vendors.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, employee training and education, workshops, and seminars.
  • Act as a liaison and facilitate collaboration and harmonious relationship with other all CCH and County departments and vendors.
  • Responsible and able to perform tasks, duties, and responsibilities in a timely manner with or without direct supervision.
  • Must exercise discretion and good judgment regarding sensitive and confidential information.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (Must provide proof at time of interview)
  • Proficient in computers using Microsoft Office
  • One (1) year of Accounts Payable experience, regardless of setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of Accounts Payable experience in a hospital setting
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Accounts Payable

  • A copy of a valid State ID Card or Driver’s License which identifies the holder of the ID as a Veteran, may also be attached to the application at time of filing.
