Confidential Sherman Oaks, CA

Currently seeking full-time and/or part-time therapists to work at our 6 bed residential/detox treatment facility, and intensive outpatient program located in the San Fernando Valley area, for clients with substance abuse, and other co-occurring disorders.

We are looking for compassionate, dynamic, and talented therapists (AMFT, ACSW) interested in working as part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of professionals providing individual and group psychotherapy. Supervisory duties are carried out by the Clinical Director. The Therapist is responsible for providing specialized therapies both individually and in groups for clients with substance abuse and dual diagnoses. He or she is also responsible for performing Biopsychosocial assessments, clinical evaluations, ASAM assessments, treatment and discharge planning, and collaborating with other members of the treatment team to address the client's problem and needs, other duties assigned by the Clinical Director.

On a separate note, we are also looking for an AMFT candidate that can act as the Assistant Clinical Liaison to the Clinical Director onsite at our locations in Woodland Hills, CA and Sherman Oaks, CA.

Some of the responsibility and duties:

  • Therapist takes initiative, use independent judgment and make well-informed decisions
  • Provides relevant information to the team as it is received from clients or families.
  • Assists with the client's treatment plan process by presenting pertinent information based on clinical evaluations, group and individual sessions, and client interactions.
  • It is required that the position maintain confidential information per HIPPA, Information Security Policy, Protocols, Procedures, and CFR-42
  • Communication must be courteous at all times
  • Performs individual sessions and group therapy
  • Conducts family sessions
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must have current CPR/First Aide and TB test
  • Must approve a background check
  • Must be registered and in good standing with the BBS
  • Must have 1 or more years experience working in the substance abuse/dual diagnosis field, and working with clients with PTSD (preferred)
  • EMDR trained (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule is flexible

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
