Position Summary

The Sales Specialist is responsible for expanding our customer base and increasing the revenue in the assigned geographic area by identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities. The Sales Specialist will develop and implement sales strategies for new account prospects and increasing our revenue from active and inactive client accounts. The role is required to work with corporate sales management to plan, develop, execute, and follow up on sales activities. The Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving profit goals for their assigned area(s).

Essential Functions

Identify prospects and secure new business using strategic, ethical, and effective sales techniques

Conduct sales activities including presentations and proposals, in-office demonstrations, and direct mail campaigns

Conduct timely and impactful follow-up of all sales activity

Research and analyze market data using results to further enhance sales results

Implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion; consistently ask for the business

Identify, develop, and maintain customer relationships; conduct programs to support the marketing strategy

Analyze prospective customer’s requirements and needs to provide strategic product and service solutions which meet or exceed the needs and resolve customer problems

Partner with the corporate office team to continuously improve product knowledge needed to close sales and seamlessly implement the product solution

Support driving sales closure to shorten the sales cycle and ensure sales goals and objectives are met

Prioritize daily sales calls and email follow-up for maximum revenue impact

Work with corporate recruiting and account executives to cultivate relationships and consult about solutions for staffing needs with management at targeted businesses in a variety of industries

Establish and nurture relationships with businesses in the community, including active participation in local networking events to increase brand recognition and awareness

Assist in creating new business proposals, marketing materials and presentations as needed

Working in tandem with our recruiting and Account Executives, you will cultivate relationships and consult about solutions for staffing needs with management at various targeting businesses in a variety of industries.

Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, questions, and client concerns

Requirements and Experience

3 or more years of proven business-to-business sales experience

2-5 years of developing sales strategies with a focus in conducting consultative cold calls, utilizing sales solution-oriented approaches

Highly professional presentation presence including communication, tone, and overall delivery

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Outstanding public speaking and presentation ability

Capability to successfully work both independently and collaboratively

Ability to effectively remember details and information or to locate resources to find information as needed

Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices)

Competence to produce results within an autonomous environment within company guidelines

Proficiency in speaking with business owners, and executives comfortably

Proven ability to get past the gatekeeper and overcome sales objectives

Results-oriented individual who strategically pursues business with energy and drive; holds him/herself accountable for the achievement of assigned territory sales goals

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to provide excellent customer service to a variety clients and timely resolve issues

Must live in the Greater Orlando area

Work Environment

The job is a work-from-home office assignment in the greater Orlando area.

Travel

Frequent regional travel, up to 60% or more with minimum overnight travel. (Majority of travel will be by personal vehicle)

Speaking abilities required by this job include clarity of verbal expression, both in concept and sound, as well as regular prolonged verbal exchanges numerous times during the workday.

Hearing abilities include close audible sounds, distant audible sounds, and accurate interpretation of sound; the most common sound being spoken word by other employees, clients, and vendors.

Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to type, touch, and grip; and reach with hands and arms.

May be required to sit for long periods of time.
