Sales Representative Job at Crystal Bees
Crystal Bees is an upscale entertainment venue, at 240 Spring Street in Southington. The building is ¾ of an acre and is home to a 170-seat high-end restaurant called Glass Hat Bistro, Dante's Bar, 16 bowling lanes (four of which are in a private VIP area), two bocce courts, a private party space called, "The Godfather Room," an arcade with high value redemption games, table shuffleboard, pool tables and more.
Position Description:
The Event Sales Representative will be located primarily on-site and is responsible for closing inquiries through phone calls, emails, conducting site visits and entertaining potential clients. Event Sales Representatives coordinate with the operations team to ensure quality event execution for our guests.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Respond to all event inquiries and convert inquiries into booked events.
- Clearly communicate to prospective clients the features and benefits of Crystal Bees properties and event packages.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly sales goal.
- Work with clients to plan and coordinate details of events.
- Understand the unique needs of different types of events, such as corporate events, Birthday parties and other social events.
- Create and manage all client data through our database in Caterease.
- Manage relationship with clients throughout the event planning process and beyond.
- Ensure successful event execution by our operations team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or Hospitality.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
- Ability to immediately own and resolve problems.
- Broad knowledge and experience in event planning and execution.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including some nights and weekends.
