We're looking for a Sales Planning Analyst to join our team!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Through working with the Sr. Sales Planning Manager responsible for our Food Service (FS) and International Divisions, you will:

  • Take an active role in the monthly S&OP process; assessing and quantifying drivers - good and bad - versus plan and prior year.
  • Develop tracking metrics against sales objectives including distribution, pricing, and trade metrics.
  • Quantify and communicate findings/risks/opportunities during S&OP - as well as to the larger team - with proposed recommendations.

Develop analytics, tools, and selling decks for the Food Service & International teams to facilitate sell-in support of annual objectives.

  • Conduct analysis and develop presentations for customer/broker calls in support of sell-in opportunities. Attend these calls with the FS and International teams.
  • Own the Foodservice Analytics Library; ensuring all data sources are up to date and readily available to the sales team.
  • Support FS & International teams by working with cross functional partners to obtain all required customer set up and maintenance information/documentation (R&D, Finance, Legal support, etc.) This includes, but is not limited to, the USDA's Market Access Program (MAP).

Support the Total Sales Team by way of:

  • Annual planning:
    • Conducting ad-hoc analytics in support of annual DSMP (distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing) objectives.
    • Work with Sr. Director/Sales Planning on meeting logistics, including templates, tools, timelines, and communication.
  • Lead Field Sales communication including (but not limited to) new item launches, discontinuations and price changes; effectively manage and update content on Sales SharePoint page.
  • Assist with data validation and system maintenance within our trade promotion management (TPM) system
  • Support new item launches including Welch's (Product and Packing Information Changes) process, sample orders, selling materials, and participation in customer calls.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI and SharePoint skills are a plus
  • Proven sales presentation development skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills, particularly in building credibility and collaborative relationships
  • The ability to objectively balance cross-functional requirements and demands
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • A team player with a can-do attitude

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience. Foodservice or International experience preferred.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, skills required and either IRI or Nielsen skills are preferred
  • Some travel required (less than 10%)
