Itron’s Liberty Lake, Washington sales organization is currently seeking a Sales Operations Associate who is interested in a collaborative, interactive, fast paced, and high output team. This individual will maintain direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale and will support the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue. This person will work with various departments to meet sales goals in North America. Focus of work is the entire sales cycle.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Interface with manufacturing, engineering, factory shipping, purchasing/planning, marketing, sales, finance, accounting and support group to meet customer needs
• Submit PO’s to Product Life Cycle Management for custom part numbers
• Validation of customer purchase order against price book / quotation / contract for accuracy and completeness
• Clear understanding of customer contracts and quotes related to terms, special instructions, revenue recognition for processing of orders
• Book customer purchase order into ERP system ensuring accurate data and attaching all documentation for each specific product per inventory organization
• Schedule and hold forecast meetings with sales managers and create revenue reports for distribution prior to the meeting
• Update and maintain pipeline and backlog forecast information in Salesforce and ERP system with guidance from sales and project managers
• Run reports, export data, format information and forward to internal and external customers
• Identify, research, and resolve issues and discrepancies with customer orders while collaborating with Quality, Customer Repair, Shipping, Marketing, Product Business Units and Accounting
• Assist Accounts Receivable to identify and resolve any billing issues using GetPaid system
• Work with Revenue Accounting to determine recognition guidelines based on contract language
• High volume of communication to/from customers via email and phone
• Maintain customer order files electronically per Itron retention policy
• Adapts well to change management in a fast-paced environment
• Follow company policies and Standard Operating Procedures
• Compile documentation for internal and external auditors
• Always maintain a helpful attitude and promote company values when dealing with customers
