Position

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Critical role ensuring LATAM/CARIBBEAN/TR AMERICAS sales & merchandising coordination in relationship with Miami office Sales team and NJ Merchandising/Operation/Finance teams.
  • Provide business analysis and commercial reporting
  • Delivers actionable insights based on data analysis to improve business performance
  • This position is based out of Miami, FL
  • The position reports to the Vice President of Sales, LATAM/CARIBBEAN/TR AMERICAS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

BUSINESS ANALYSIS & REPORTING:

  • Analyzes large sets of data (sell-out, sell-in, stocks...) from multiple sources (WAS, partners’ reports, SAP extracts, COBI…) and thru various angles (by product, by market, channel, partner, type of POS...) to interpret the business performance
  • Prepares meaningful reporting to communicate the business performance to the local team and management on time (weekly, monthly…)
  • Support in presentations preparation for business reviews with senior management to provide business insights supporting the decision-making process
  • Reviews with users & stakeholders of reports to ensure they evolve along with business needs

MERCHANDISING COORDINATION:

  • Works with each markets manager on distribution clustering (Quarterly basis)
  • Analyzes various business data (historical sales, recent market trends, seasonality, demand drivers, new product launches, feedback from Sales & Marketing) to develop bottom-up forecast at the SKU level for each market (Travel Retail, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia…) on a rolling 18-months span
  • Defines assortment/stock model by cluster in coordination with VP/Market managers and merchandising team
  • Collect/Consolidates and analyzes distribution inventory vs stock model target on a monthly basis
  • Weekly control of back orders and deliveries => Formalize warning to VP/Sales team when necessary

SALES COORDINATION:

  • Analyzes/Optimizes and Formalizes ordering processes per market to improve speed to market
  • Assist Sales Managers in order consolidation, submission, and follow-up with NJ operation team
  • Coordinates CAPEX process from planning to instore execution in relationship with Sales and VM team
  • Manages Selective Distribution Agreement HQ project
  • Ensures that Sales Force application is properly updated by Sales team, works with NJ/HQ team on improvements axis for the area.

DATABASE & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT:

  • Manages commercial databases (Sell-in, Sell-out, Stock, Customers, Point of Sales) including supervising their maintenance, analyzing the data, building reports, as well as developing procedures for users
  • Manages commercial applications: Warranty Activation System, Sales Forecasting Tool (APTOS)
  • SAP Business Analysis Tool: ensuring data integrity


Profile

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master’s in Business Administration or International Commerce
  • Minimum 2 years relevant analyst experience
  • Minimum 2 years demand planning experience
  • Previous experience with business intelligence software
  • Previous experience in a retail environment preferred

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Spanish appreciated
  • Expert proficiency with the MS Office Suite – particular emphasis on Excel and Access.
  • Proficiency in database management and expert in data/information manipulation.
  • Business acumen, with ability to identify and communicate insights from large data sets
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow- through.
