Provides safety oversight of dnata operations. Will provide operational observation and support, ensuring compliance and continued safety culture development. Ensures all safety guidelines, processes and procedures are adhered to while meeting all company and government regulation standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily with or without accommodation.

• 
  Oversee adherence to safety procedures in airport operations.
• Performs routine inspection of airplane turnarounds, baggage handling, cleaning, and mail services activity. Perform risk assessments as required.
• Enters inspections and incidents into the database, issue weekly incident report lists and assist in developing safety related reports.
• Advise leadership on trends and provide solution-based recommendations to maintain a safe operational environment.
• Supports incident investigations and claims reporting.
• Supports safety initiatives and procedural requirements to ensure that the workforce behaviors are compliant with company expectations.
• Supports development of forms, safety theme topics and training materials.
• Coordinates training rooms supporting the orientation classes.
• Will enter incident, compliance, and correction action information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Can meet the Station’s attendance standards.

• Ability to complete OSHA certification course within the first 2 years of employment.
• Ability to work independently, lead by example and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills, solid computer skills, familiar with software applications
• Interpersonal skill: decisiveness and the ability to work accurately and independently. Able to influence, engage and motivate at all levels.
• Attention to detail, to include while conducting audits.
• Bachelor's degree and one to 2 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
