Facilitates the restaurant food service process by matching order tickets with prepared food items and sides as completed by the kitchen staff in order to allow servers to receive completed orders and ensure timely delivery of product to restaurant guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Embodies Traditions Mission, Vision, and Core Values
  • Maintains proper food handling and safety procedures for all products used
  • Checks presentation of plates for neatness and inclusion of all ordered items and ensures that food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards
  • Communicates with service staff to inform them of orders that have been filled or returned
  • Keeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with all company team members, fostering and promoting a cooperative, harmonious work environment keeping morale, productivity and efficiency high
  • Develops a strong teamwork environment
  • Builds rapport with all team members through active listening and problem solving skills
  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an exceptional manner
  • Maintains a safe and clean working area
  • Responsible for timing of food orders and alerts management if there is a backlog
  • Remain focused in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multitask
  • Understanding of the sequence of service to ensure that food is delivered in the correct order and in a timely manner
  • Delivers food to tables if the server is unable to
  • This position is located within The Chickasaw Nation's Casinos.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be observant of any and all safety concerns surrounding your work area
  • Follow all health standards and guidelines established
  • Superior attendance and punctuality
  • Always wear slip resistant shoes
  • Provide information to supervisors/managers
  • Always wear a safety belt when lifting objects more than 20 lbs
  • Create and support an environment of Teamwork by helping a fellow employee or guest, without a second thought
  • Holds self to a higher standard, being a role model at all times
  • Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and/or seminars
  • Adheres to organization policies and procedures
  • Uniforms and/or clothing should always be on stage clean
  • Must maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands after using the restroom, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have previous restaurant experience and a thorough understanding of a full service environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
  • Must possess a commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Standing during entire shift
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries and pushes
  • Exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, and humidity
  • Hazards may include, but are not limited to cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
  • Noise level is moderate to high
  • Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, nuts and produce items
  • Frequent washing of hands
  • Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs
  • Moderate to high exposure to cigarette smoke when on the casino floor
