We are currently seeking a Restorative Nurse Aide to administer a restorative care program that has been designed to maximize the resident's existing abilities, emphasize independent rather than dependent activity and in general to develop in the resident an attitude of realistic optimism for their individual participation in the daily lifecycle routines.

Essential Duties:

• Group and individual restorative activities for all residents on a restorative program
• Assist in dining room for meals
• Oversee the weights and assist with obtaining daily, weekly, and monthly weights.
• Assist in training new Nursing Assistants on regular aide skills and train each new aide on an overview of restorative duties.
• Complete inventory logs for new admissions
• Assist with ADL’s and documentation.
• Assist with inventory and supplies as needed
• Coordinate Restorative Program with the Life Enrichment Coordinator

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Aide program is required.
• Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification.
• Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, families and coworkers.
