We have an immediate full-time or part-time Restaurant Server for our Amelia’s Restaurant overlooking Lake Sumter. Our Servers provide food and beverage service to our restaurant and banquet customers, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and memorable experience.

This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not required. Applicant needs to have outstanding customer service skills to be considered for the position.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks

· Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

· Check customers’ identification and confirm customer meets legal drinking age

· Restock and replenish inventory and supplies

· Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

· Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Computer literacy

· Knowledge of a second language is a plus

· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

· Ability to keep your area organized, stocked and clean

· Relevant training certificate

· Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

· Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience as a server preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

· Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

· May vary weekly based upon business demands
