We provide services day and night so pick the shift that works best for your schedule. The Residential Trainers work afternoons, evenings, graveyards, or weekends, either full-time or part-time; you name it! We have shifts that meet your needs.
Through physical, recreational, and social activities, we help our clients develop life skills. We are seeking energetic, cheerful individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living.
This is a great opportunity for those looking for an evening or weekend job, or who want a schedule that fits in with school demands.
Starting pay is $17.00 per hour for day or swing shifts.
Shifts available: Monday-Sunday 6-9 am, 3-10 pm(swings), Monday-Sunday 10 pm- 9 am (overnight/graveyard), OR Saturday & Sundays 8 am- 3 pm (day).

  • Tuition Reimbursement - Residential care staff who are regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for up to $500 of tuition reimbursement per semester.

Residential Trainers/Caregivers promote healthy lifestyles and support residents' daily activities in their homes by:
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation.
  • Teaching housekeeping skills.
  • Teaching personal resource management skills.
  • Assisting with shopping.
  • Encouraging community participation.
  • Engaging residents in physical and social activities.
  • Providing direct care and assisting with personal hygiene.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Part Time secondary positions available for those who are at least 16 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Stable work history and record of excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend at the waist, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Valid Utah driver's license and a good driving record is preferred but not required.
  • NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Work Activity Center provides ongoing training to help you excel in your position.
