Job Description Resident in Counseling

OVERVIEW

The Madeline Centre was founded in 1996 as an outpatient counseling office serving individuals and families in Central Virginia. A family business in its 26th year of operation, we’ve treated thousands of children and adults in the region in offices, clinics, homes, and school settings. Driven by clinicians, our primary focus has been caring for the individuals referred to our services, advocating appropriately for system improvement, and facing some of the toughest clinical challenges.

We are proud to announce our search for a Resident in Cunseling who shares our excitement for the Behavioral Health Redesign that is currently unfolding in Virginia. As an established agency with a strong reputation for providing high-quality clinical services, our agency has been looking forward to the restructuring of our Commonwealth's behavioral healthcare system and as such, we see this time as a phenomenal opportunity to improve, increase, and enhance the services we provide to our consumers. We are a "family of professionals improving the mental & behavioral health of every person we meet," and if that resonates with you then we want to meet you.

Our agency focuses on clinical populations ranging from age 2 to 100 and we primarily operate in Central and Southside Virginia. We have a proven track record in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (EPSDT/Behavioral Therapy), Addiction & Recovery Treatment Services, Therapeutic Day Treatment Services, Intensive In-Home Services, and Outpatient Counseling services. Strong applicants will have a diversified skillset and "will set" in working in clinical issues that span the DSM.

If you have a passion for helping people, the ability to manage your own clinical work, experience with consumers across the life span, and an unmatched drive to create something extraordinary, we want to talk to you.
