I. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education
1. Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university.
B. Experience
1. At least, but not necessarily more than, three - five year’s human service experience.
2. Education or direct experience in human services focused on mental health or MRDD.
3. Experience in program and staff planing and development, and a demonstrated ability to supervise others.
C. Skills
1. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain in a professional manner, relationships with clientele and personnel within and outside the Agency, and to work intimately with direct care staff.
2. Ability to communicate orally and in written form in an organized and concise manner.
3. New York State Driver’s License to be used commensurate with program needs.
4. Must demonstrate those general skills and personality traits deemed necessary to successfully meet the demands of the position.
