  • Bachelors, Masters degree or PhD in biochemistry or related discipline required.

  • Quick turn-around requirements on requests and accuracy and thoroughness is critical.
  • Good record keeping and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must; Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experimental design, planning and conducting experiments.
  • Perform data analysis to interpret experiment results and produce findings reports as well as give presentations to other members of the team.
  • Use of a hemocytometer, expert in aseptic technique, able to work with a variety of eukaryotic cell lines both non-adherent and adherent. Cell sorting and flow cytometry.
  • Familiarity with Mass Spectrometry. Proficient in chromatography, Lc, and HPLC.
  • Familiarity in using a Confocal Microscopy in experiments such as: localization, colocalization, live cell imaging
  • Lab techniques such as: CRISPR, tagged enzyme pulldowns, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, DNA plasmid purification, DNA sequencing, transfections, virus work, small molecule extraction and analysis, TLC, RNA sequencing, blots, cloning, PCR, mutagenesis, TEM.
  • Proficient in biochemistry and expertise in poly unsaturated fatty acids and their properties.

The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For The Following

  • Best practices and standard processes in daily work and experiments which support efficiencies, quality and safety.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Present and interpret data in meetings, as well as in written documents and reports.
  • Contribute to and initiate scientific ideas in line with corporate and program goals.
  • Maintain close communication with the program leaders so as to adhere to program goals and time schedules.
  • Must be flexible and open to new tasks and challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
