Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

This position will provide professional-level support for research projects within the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health. This position will develop and manage data activities, and will assist with study design, human subjects coordination and management, and developing study protocols. This position will also develop data management protocols and assist with data collection, coauthor manuscripts for publication, present on research data and participation statistics, budget maintenance, day to day study oversight, and task delegation to, and oversight of, other team members.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Coordinator OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:
  • Proficient with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Must have strong written/oral communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
  • Work hours must be flexible to include evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license by the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
  • Experience working with and scoring cognitive skills assessment tools such as NIH Toolbox, COWAT/FAS, 3MSE, WAIS, MoCA, and administering performance-based measure.
  • Experience utilizing and providing feedback on REDCap.

Monthly Salary Range: Range 43, $3,480 to $4,656 (Step A - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
