Job Overview



The Digital Selling Supervisor leads and inspires a diverse and creative remote selling team in executing digital selling success.


As the Digital Selling Supervisor, you will deliver and drive a best in class selling and service culture, achieving your personal and team digital selling KPI objectives. You will role model how to navigate the digital selling environment by responding to customers’ requests to chat while they are browsing on Bloomingdales.com. You will serve as a Bloomingdale’s merchandise & service expert, helping customers identify their personal style needs, answering general questions, and ultimately guiding their purchasing decisions while online. Through various technology applications, you will reconnect with those customers and continue to offer service and inspire additional shopping opportunities. All technology applications to connect with customers will be available on a company provided devices.


Additionally, the Digital Selling Supervisor is responsible for the highly visible, daily supervision of the virtual “selling floor”, leading the remote selling team by supervising selling and service activities. Responsibilities include oversight of customer service, quality of selling and outreach, technology support, and effective execution of foundational tasks and processes for Digital Selling.




Essential Functions



Digital Selling

  • Flexibility to manage customer interactions coming in through multiple online platforms
  • Uses outreach tools to connect with and build relationships, inspiring multiple purchases
  • Puts customers quickly at ease; Instantly connect with customers to build comfort and trust
  • Connects customers to instore experts when appropriate
  • Is an expert on product and style, and sells with a confident fashion voice
  • Actively uses styling and selling technology to deliver the customer experience and drive sales
  • Delivers personal monthly and seasonal sales plan by maximizing all selling opportunities and working consistently on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to achieve goals
  • Sells the Bloomingdale’s Loyallist Charge Card as the best way to shop at Bloomingdale’s
  • Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company
  • Collaborates with other digital selling experts and central team to provide the best customer experience
  • Works closely with the Central Digital Selling team to effectively leverage selling tools
  • Be available to onboard in store location; will be required to train and acquire product knowledge in-store.

Supervisory

  • Helps lead and educate colleagues on digital selling proficiency and client development
  • Creates & communicates weekly team recaps
  • Assists in facilitating weekly team meetings and touch bases
  • Motivates colleagues to maximize company programs by reinforcing the benefits, ex. Loyallist.
  • Ensures usage and proficiency of all Digital Selling Tools: Salesfloor, B-connected, Associate Portal, Magic Selling Application (MSA)
  • Supports the Manager of Digital Selling with colleague timekeeping management (PTO Requests, Schedule Changes, Clocking Adjustments, etc.)
  • Assists with executing digital onboarding for new Remote team members



Competencies



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years related experience.
  • Has proficient experience selling remotely – should be able to speak to driving volume and developing a client book remotely.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
  • Solution oriented – can extract core issues and determine best course of action.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, & Salesfloor App experience is recommended.



Physical Requirements



  • Requires periods of remotely communicating over large periods of time.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions.
