Rehabilitation Services Technician/ Clerk Job at Lake Health District

This position will assist a multi-disciplinary team of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists with patient care and exercises, as well as assist office staff with scheduling of patients, filing, answering phones, cleaning treatments rooms, cleaning for closing clinic, and more. This position will contribute to the care of patients by completing non-patient care duties under the direction and supervision of the department staff, as directed. This position will contribute to an orderly, safe, and well-equipped patient environment. In addition, the position may require performance of general department maintenance and maintain inventory of department equipment, linen, and supplies. Ideally, candidates should possess an interest and/or background in the movement and science of exercise, as well as a working knowledge of computers and customer service. Candidates must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are important traits for our staff and team.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
  • Licensure/Certification: Required to obtain AHA BLS within 60 days of employment (offered at LHD).
  • Experience: Customer Service, Housekeeping, Maintenance, preferred.
  • Job Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Outlook, preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, required. Ability to multitask, required.
  • Expected Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
