One of the worlds largest renewable energy companies is looking for a seasoned professional to take on their Regulatory Affairs Manager position out of Chicago. This position would be essential to identifying any and all issues in governmental organizations that may affect the value of the RE portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Follow significant FERC/NERC issues that affect portfolio value
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive approach to RTO/ISO regulatory issues in active markets
  • Develop potential third-party vendor relationships to assist in information flow and analysis of regulatory developments
  • Track issues and ensure that the key internal personnel across the firm Power Marketing are aware of RTO/ISO market rule developments, and contribute to required regulatory filings

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in finance, economics, law or equivalent and a minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience
  • Advise the firm on the approach to an uncertain regulatory environment
  • Ability to create practical solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex recommendations to a variety of audiences, including senior management
