The office in Cerritos provides Home Health professionals for the local area including Long Beach, Torrance, Los Alamitos, Lakewood, San Pedro, Palos Verdes, Anaheim, Irvine, Tustin, and many others. Registered Nurse - Part Time Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care through all phases of care taking into consideration age and developmental needs
  • Collaborate and support plan of care as determined by the physician and healthcare team
  • Treat patients accordingly as approved by the physician.
  • Perform periodic re-evaluation of the patient as necessary and makes adjustments in the patient's treatment program.
  • Provide treatment to patients per protocols
  • Utilize OASIS assessment and documentation.
  • Facilitate timely discharge based on goals and in accordance with client policies and procedures
  • Educate and instructs the patient, patient's family and other staff as required.
  • Counsel the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
  • Supervise and teaches LVN's, HHA's as required for patient care according to law and regulations.
  • Provide nursing care through all phases of care with consideration of age and developmental needs.
  • Document all care, intervention and care coordination per law, regulation and agency policy.
  • Notify patient's physician and responsible staff of significant changes in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate all services provided; consult with other health professionals as needed.
  • Effectively plan, organize, set priorities and complete work assignments with minimum direct supervision per agency policies; within established time frames.
  • Assist Supplemental Health Care in determining skill and specialties.
  • Comply within institutions policies and procedures
  • Communicate with Supplemental Health Care regarding problems and concerns.
Registered Nurse - Part Time Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
  • One (1) years' nursing experience, preferred.
  • Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
  • OASIS experience preferred but not required
