Director of Nursing, Long Term Care- Managment experience not required

Currently seeking a Director of Nursing for a midsized skilled nursing facility in Chicago IL. census is 100 beds. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience working in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Nursing. This position is well suited for a candidate looking to start a career in managment.

Responsibilities of the Director or Nursing-

• Administer nursing services to patients who live in the facility
• Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing staff in rendering resident care
• Interpret policy and regulations to all nursing staff and ensures compliance
• Analyze and evaluate nursing and related services rendered to ensure the best quality of resident care Serve as a member of the senior management team
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families

Requirements of the Director of Nursing

• Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
• 3-5 years of experience working in Assisted Living, Home Health or Skilled nursing.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills preferred
