We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care/ICU Department. This position is part time, scheduled 1-12 hour Varied shift, for a total of 12 hours per week, and is eligible for a 13% pay differential in lieu of benefits. The hospital-assigned Registered Nurse assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for MCMC including those for patient assessment and transfer.

• Graduated from accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred, with a minimum of 650 clinical hours required.
• Oregon RN License
• BLS required
• ACLS required, TNCC within one year of hire, CCRN preferred

• Six months nursing experience or successful completion of nursing internship program preferred. Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized
• The ideal candidate will have Telemetry or Progressive Care experience, excellent IV and EKG interpretation skills, and display the ability think critically in a fast paced environment. Proven experience with IV drip titration, and an exposure to the Emergency Dept setting is a plus.

• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g, email, Microsoft Office, voicemail, internet/intranet to access, organize and store job-related information.

• A thorough understanding and belief in the Planetree philosophy of patient-centered care is essential in order to provide the highest level of personalized care to our patients.
