Keeping the mouth free of harmful bacteria, infection and inflammation helps to prevent the entry and spread of germs or illness. Having strong, healthy teeth, gums and proper bite are also critical to a beautiful and healthy smile. A great hygiene team provides a foundation for patient health.

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including cleaning, scaling, polishing and fluoride treatments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing patient care instructions. Our Dental Hygienists must have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
  • Assess patient's oral health condition and provide preventive care.
  • Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy and other preventive procedures using Guided Biofilm Therapy.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Maintain patient records and charts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Working well with a highly functioning team.
