Registered Behavior Technician Job at High Five Therapy LLC (DBA TIBS For Kids)
This is a new job that will be very challenging and exciting for the right applicant. You will be responsible for monitoring and recording observations of subjects' behaviors in different scenarios. The Behavior Technician must be able to follow detailed guidelines to accomplish tasks. He/she must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Wear professional business attire (e.g. business suit) when working directly with clients.
- Identify individual client's needs, concerns, and emotions.
- Provide support to clients to resolve problems, increase independence and develop positive behavior.
- Engage emotionally with clients and encourage positive interaction with others .
- Train clients in various skills (like potty training or line-waiting), and teach them new habits and routines .
- Use various techniques to redirect negative behavior (e.g. positive reinforcement, time-out, prompting) .
- Observe behavior in public settings and identify inappropriate behaviors that need to be corrected.
- Prepare reports of daily activities.,Observation notes and daily reports.).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
