CPH has an opening in our Miami, Florida office location for the following position:
Registered Architect
Hiring Bonus of $7,500 for selected candidate!
CPH is seeking a full-time Registered Architect with strong organizational, supervision and technical skills to manage all facets of a project including business development, client management, project management, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.

Duties Include

  • Fulfilling requirements as Architect of Record for the design, permitting and construction administration of projects.
  • Preparation of accurate architectural presentation, design, details and construction documents in REVIT.
  • Oversight of project design team including architects, designers, consultants and clients.
  • Collaboration with other firm architects, disciplines, project managers, and business development teams.
  • Research, interpretation and implementation of relevant codes and client requirements.
  • Development, implementation and utilization of REVIT standards, families and templates.
  • Preparation of specifications, review of shop drawings, and construction administration support as Architect of Record.
  • Periodic travel to perform business development, project management, building investigations, measurements, and construction observation. Duty includes preparation or review of subsequent reports and exhibits.
  • Oversight and assistance with compiling construction plans from all disciplines and submittal to agencies having jurisdiction.
  • Oversight and mentoring project Architects, Designers and Technicians.
  • Review of documents prepared by others and implementation of project quality control.
  • Development, negotiation and management of project scope, planning, schedules, budgets and billing.
  • Management of clients and national account programs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited institution. Licensure is required with ability to obtain additional state licensure through reciprocity a plus.
  • 5+ years of US experience in Industrial, Institutional, Commercial, Retail, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, and/or Office projects.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is required. AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding of project process from concept through construction.
  • Ability to consistently exercise good independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of materials, techniques, procedures and design solutions.
  • Effective in providing instruction, teaching and mentoring in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Superior social, communication, written and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable and self-motivated.
