In your Regional Security Manager role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

As Regional Security Manager, you will plan and direct the Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) security function under the direction of senior management; manage the professional, technical and support security staff assigned to KCNA facilities and security programs; develop, implement, and manage the strategic and tactical planning for KCNA security services; and provide regional security leadership to the sites.

The Regional Security Manager will manage complex security improvements across KCNA and security vendor relationships for facilities, as well as implement core security programs (Physical Security, Workplace Violence, Travel Security, Executive Protection, Supply Chain Security and Crisis Management), while being customer centric, demonstrating excellence by turning decisions into action, aiming high to win with integrity, and championing inclusion and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain advanced subject matter expertise in security management, technology and trends in the industry and region; provide expert security advice and perspective to senior managers and other stakeholders such that security issues are thoroughly evaluated, innovative approaches developed, and optimal solutions implemented; and develop and implement policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for protecting people, facilities, and business.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-level law enforcement, intelligence, and private sector counterparts.

  • Brief senior executives on status of security issues and serve on regional level committees and working groups.

  • Supervise Branch Managers (security vendors) and on-site Security Guards to ensure they comply with legal and regulatory requirements, meet corporate standards and customer needs.

  • Develop and guide Security Champions to measure the effectiveness of physical security at KCNA sites and collaborate with other managers, leaders, and stakeholders to assess security risks, security services and systems, provide innovative solutions and develop improvement roadmaps.

  • Develop and manage KCNA’s Threat Management Team by leading cross-functional efforts in dimensioning and mitigating significant security, cultural and legal risks with regional level impact, and mentor case leaders assigned workplace violence investigations.

  • Manage Executive Protection activities for senior executives, including office and residential physical security, and security awareness training and security for Board of Director meetings.

  • Implement Security Core Programs by adapting them to regional needs and engaging with regional leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure buy-in.

  • Manage security vendors to ensure local engagement, quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness in security services, and control and review budgets to ensure spend matches hours of service and contract terms.

In this role as Regional Security Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Security.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in law enforcement, intelligence agency or corporate security with specific experience implementing security programs.

  • 4-year degree or equivalent professional security experience and certifications.

  • Ability to build trust, engage and understand business objectives and risk tolerance, and effectively integrate risk mitigation strategies without compromising business objectives.

  • Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and apply sound judgment advising and influencing others at all levels within the organization.

  • Process oriented with strong project management and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to handle, prioritize, and execute on numerous projects simultaneously.

  • Experience establishing and maintaining a strong culture of compliance and a track record of operating with the highest ethical standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Experience at a large multinational corporation, ideally in CPG, consumer retail, e-commerce and/or manufacturing environments
