Summary

The Regional Recruiter is responsible for carrying-out the recruiting strategy within the regional offices and facilities, building candidate and hiring manager relationships, and filling critical roles throughout their designated business units. The Regional Recruiter is responsible for all staffing within the Atlanta Regional Distribution Center and all store facilities within that region.


**Telework Policy allows for up to 5 days of work from home a week depending on business needs and manager discretion**

What You’ll Do

  • Liaise with internal business partners to ensure smooth onboarding processes
  • Ensure recruitment targets are met according to Lidl’s staffing strategy by tracking metrics and communicating with hiring managers
  • Serve as a liaison with universities, workforce centers and surrounding communities
  • Process offer letter materials, initiate background checks, and manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Screen applications for qualified candidates and coordinate interviews and applicant communications over the phone, through the ATS, and via email
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events and assessment centers in conjunction with regional leadership
  • Maintain an overview of job postings and work with internal partners to advertise roles

What You’ll Need

  • BA/BS in business or related field
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in recruitment
  • Previous experience recruiting for high volume retail/grocery positions preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and state recruitment standards and staffing best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in fast-paced working environment
