Currently, CTS is reviewing resumes for an Sr. Recruiting Manager. This position will be in Pascagoula, MS

SUMMARY

The Sr. Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading the company’s Recruiting Department. Must have the ability to understand business and what drives performance. The recruiting manager must provide leadership, support and vision to the recruiters who provide recruiting support to hiring managers. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent customer service skills are also a mandatory requirement. Other duties may be assigned by supervision as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a team of Recruiters to the standards set forth by the company utilizing Metrics and KPI’s to achieve success
  • Oversees and develops best practices on compliance related to candidate tracking
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, opportunities for advancement
  • Attend off site meetings, job fairs, conferences, seminars, and other recruitment type opportunities
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology with ATS’s, AI Recruiting, and other platforms to keep the company up to date in the competitive market Follow all company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
  • Assist the Vice President of Operations when needed with various special projects
  • Perform other HR, Operational or Sales related tasks as required by your direct supervisor
  • Responsible for Cost control (within budget) for assigned responsibilities
  • Manage high volume of recruiting assignments in multiple geographical locations in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Perform full life cycle recruiting from sourcing candidates to facilitating pre-employment screening
  • Conduct weekly meetings with hiring managers to communicate status of candidates and requisitions
  • Evaluating current recruiting procedures to determine efficiency
  • Develop and implement key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity while holding Recruiters to the defined Metrics
  • Manage and develop skills testing
  • Establish creative sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and secure top talent

EDUCTATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Human Resources, Human Capital, or other related Degrees

LOCATION

  • Pascagoula, MS and/or Mobile, AL

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of three years related staffing experience and/or two-five years’ experience in the Industrial/Marine industry
  • The ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Familiarity with military and veteran hiring communities
  • Experience with LinkedIn, indeed, Google Jobs, and other employment job boards
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resistant to stress
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities and have a dependable work ethic
  • Willing to work 40+ hours a week
  • Pass substance abuse testing
