MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Recruiter to join our growing HR team!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the ongoing recruitment and selection of exempt and non-exempt positions and will partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs to build appropriate recruitment plans.

This position will be located in Shady Grove, PA, and reports to the HR Director for MGX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Requisition Management –

create requisitions with appropriate screening questionnaires, build the appropriate approval workflow for the position, manage and ensure the proper disposition of candidates throughout the recruitment workflow while maintaining compliance with OFCCP regulations.

Candidate Sourcing and Screening –

post job advertisements on internal and external company career sites, online job boards, social media and other appropriate or contracted sources. Review and screen candidate resumes. Conduct resume mining from internal and external databases.

Interviewing –

conduct initial phone screens with candidates to ensure fir for open position, coordinate interview logistics (interview team, agenda, time, location, travel, etc.), review onsite interview feedback with hiring manager and local HR to determine the candidate to hire.

Offer Creation and Delivery –

build candidate offer letters, working with internal compensation group when necessary. Present offers to candidates, selling company and position, and conducting the necessary negotiations to ensure a successful hire.

Pre-employment Screening –

administer the necessary background screens, reference checks, drug/alcohol screens, and/or physicals before completing the hire.

Onboarding Candidates –

complete the hiring process by coordinating start date with HR and Hiring Manager.

Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Associate’s Degree in Human Resources with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in recruiting for a manufacturing or distribution environment; High School Diploma with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the same field considered in lieu of degree.

Must have working knowledge in a recruiting ATS such as Oracle.

Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Must possess strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as listening and organizational skills in order to work with all levels of the organization.

Must be able to build relationships, recruit candidates and make selection decisions.

This position will be located in a normal office setting with exposure to factory areas as required. May be required to work extended hours with minimal travel if business conditions require (no more than 5% of the time).
