Recruiter/HR Generalist

We are hiring a Recruiter/HR Generalist with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. A successful recruiter will collaborate with the factory and department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This role will be focusing on recruiting for important roles such as maintenance technicians, area sales managers, customer service positions in addition to professional factory roles such as Engineers, department heads, and IT positions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and execute overall recruiting strategy.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post/advertise jobs.
  • Source and recruit candidates.
  • Screen candidates.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”.
  • As integral part of the HR Team, support process and procedures for performance appraisals, employee relations, communications and provide periodic back-up for payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Recruiter in Manufacturing (either as an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - knowledge of Paychex T.A.M. a plus.
  • Solid MS Office Skills - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Job Boards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural awareness.
  • Resourceful thinking, problem-solving aptitude and data driven decision-making skills.
  • BS in Human Resources Management or related work experience.
  • HR Certification(s) - PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP – highly desired.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
