Provide A Ride is a customized non-emergency transportation provider in Warrensville Hts, OH, We are growing tremendously and seeking a Recruiter to join our HR team.

Job Summary:
The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting. As a member of the HR team, this position will support other human resources functions as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Leads all recruitment activities and supports management in the hiring process by sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and placing candidates.
  • Creates branding ads and selects proper channels for posting based on hiring needs.
  • Leverages appropriate sourcing strategies to ensure a constant flow of qualified candidates, including social networking. Uses unconventional recruitment methods to attract candidates, and develops relationships with employment agencies. Maintains employee referral program.
  • Maintains applicant tracking system updated to indicate recruitment status for each position.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Verifies applicants' motor vehicle records and other preliminary background checks and determines a candidate's eligibility for consideration.
  • Contacts applicants to schedule face-to-face interviews or to attend a hiring event.
  • Conducts pre-screening interviews and filter candidates for open positions.
  • Conducts and coordinates post-offer screenings (i.e. BCI's/FBCI's; physicals).
  • Collects required documents (drivers' license, education verification, etc.) during the orientation process and conduct reference, previous employment, and education verifications as needed.
  • Manages new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Maintains working relationships with all employees and serves as a liaison with management.
  • Maintains employment activity and coordinates bi-weekly recruitment meetings.
  • Researches and responds to employee questions regarding credentials, benefits, policies and procedures, etc.
  • Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, and notifying the department of employee's starting date, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with two (2) or more years of experience in a human resources or recruitment role is preferred. Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with four (4) or more years in a human resources or recruitment role; or High School Diploma/GED with six (6) or more years in a human resources or recruitment role may be considered.
  • Demonstrated understanding/knowledge of the fundamental aspects of human resources and recruitment is required.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws is required.
Competencies:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, contracts, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the following computer software programs: Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Previous working experience with Paychex-HRO, NOVAtime, or ApplicantStack preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work setting while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve different problems or issues quickly.
  • Ability to relate with diverse people in a pleasant manner.
