What We’re Looking For….

We are looking for a Recruiter to take hold of our operations/warehouse recruiting efforts, which is crucial for our business. In this role, you’ll get the just the right mix of challenge, so the ideal individual should have a strong work ethic. Passion is also key element in this position. By that, we mean someone who really gets excited about connecting the right person with the right role. And yes, we have our critical processes and SOPs, but we want individuals that can come to the table with new ideas and practices. If this sounds like a good fit, you could be our next Recruiter.

What You’ll Be Doing….

  • Drive full cycle recruitment processes for operation roles including sourcing, virtual and live interviewing, background and other employment screening, offer, hire and onboarding.
  • Provide a positive and welcoming experience for candidates at all levels.
  • Evaluate candidates and conduct pre-screening processes to provide short list of qualified individuals.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to fully understand requirements and skill set for candidates.
  • Provide accurate and consistent updates to Hiring Managers and Key Stakeholders on status of open requisitions.
  • Drive offer, approval and candidate negotiation as required.
  • Conceptualize new and creative ways to source for candidates, encompassing both active and passive recruiting strategies.
  • Support planning for all hiring efforts and events such as call drives, job fairs and online campaigns.
  • Participate in workforce planning efforts to ensure that peak and off-season headcount is maintained.
  • Run reports from our Applicant Tracking System on metrics such as applications over time, number of hires, time to hire, quality of hire and more.
  • Ensure that all recruiting processes and SOPs are followed to ensure timely filling of requisitions.
  • Maintain required time to hire and other metrics.
  • Assist with additional requisitions and peak season hiring efforts as required.
  • Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 5 years of high volume and full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year Warehouse/Operations recruiting experience. Staffing agency experience is also desirable.
  • Bi-lingual(Spanish) is a strong plus.
  • Experience handling supervisory and manager roles.
  • Must be able to travel between locations as needed (Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Suffern, Long Island).
  • Must be able to handle up to 40 requisitions at any given time and work with urgency.
  • Capacity to leverage platforms (such as LinkedIn) to actively source candidates.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems. Greenhouse is a plus.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and think out of the box.
  • Impeccable time management, organization and follow through skills.
  • Capacity to think creatively around recruitment strategies.
  • Strong ability to network and build relationships.
  • Can simultaneously follow direction and work independently at a high level.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with a broad array of candidates and hiring managers.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills.

Salary: $73,100.00-$106,000

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations.
