Recovery Coaches are individuals in long term recovery, are trained and certified by the state, have celebrated various paths of recovery, and know the local resources. Recovery Coaching focuses on improving present life and reaching future goals.
Recovery Coaching is a form of strengths - based support for people with addictions or in reocvery. The Coaches help individuals identify ways to sustain recovery, or reduce harm associated with addictive behaviors.
Typically, people meet with their Recovery Coach for on hour a week via phone or in - person. All sessions are confidentail. Recovery Coaches are mandated reporters.
