Seeking a dependable Receptionist/Optician who can support our Doctors and Staff by helping our great patient base meet their optical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Helping patients figure out what optical products are right for them
• Sales of glasses and contact lenses
• Checking patient insurance eligibility and pulling insurance authorizations
• Answering patient questions and resolving patient concerns
• Frame adjustment and repair, ophthalmic lens measurement
• Maintenance of professional and organized frame inventory and trial contact lens inventory
• Sending out and dispensing patient orders in timely manner
• Performing weekly routine office cleaning assignments

Requirements:

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Working quickly without compromising quality.
• Problem Solver - Skilled in handling patient issues and resolving them.
• Professional Appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Spanish language a plus.
• Excited to help grow the practice.

Compensation: DOE, very competitive with room for growth with time and loyalty, plus bonuses along with vision benefits.

Experience in the eye care industry a plus but paid on the job training available for the right candidate.

Willing to work weekdays as well as weekends.
