Receptionist/ALW Clerk

Villa Redondo is currently seeking a Receptionist/ALW Clerk. Villa Redondo is one of TruCare's four elderly facilities. We are an assisted living company. Anyone interested in this position should have great attention to detail, experience with extensive medical related paperwork and data entry and wonderful customer service skills.

Tentative schedule: Thursday-Monday 9am-5pm (Tuesday/Wednesday off)

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
• California Driver’s License
• Reception/Office experience preferred

Duties:

• Answers, screens, routes and directs all incoming and internal telephone calls, messages and information, including staff mobile phone calls, walkie-talkies, and emergency calls. Greet, assist and direct residents, guests and vendors.

• Assists with ALW paperwork and data entry upon the new resident admissions process.

• Maintain, assist with, or administer: Office files, resident files, marketing materials, admission packets, rosters, menu and database updates, incoming and outgoing mail and services, all logbooks, transportation schedules, etc.
• Oversees, administers and communicates all security and emergency systems and 911 calls.
• Monitor resident activity in the front lobby, control flow of traffic, monitor first impression items, and ensure residents unable to leave the facility unassisted do not leave without assistance.
• Secretarial and administrative support for Administrator and Coordinators.
• Other duties as may be assigned
