As a San Francisco Market Manager, you are responsible for building a world-class sales organization, resulting in loyal customers and high-performing employees. You’ll own the growth and development of your market and it’s people. This includes evaluating processes, following up with and mentoring Team Managers and working directly with your recruiter to hire employees to serve the needs of the market. You'll establish best practices and will build an organization that's not just great, but remarkable.
This role will report to the Director of Real Estate Operations.

What You'll Do
  • Offer real estate guidance and market expertise: Your real estate team will depend on you for leadership; you should be prepared to answer tough questions.
  • Develop your team managers and support your best agents: You’ll roll up your sleeves to develop the best leaders possible. You’ll also have a direct line to your top performers and rising stars, supporting them along their journey.
  • Forecast and manage the budget for your market: You commit to your market's financial and share goals with a focus on profitability. This includes owning headcount and market expenses.
  • Be entrepreneurial and drive sales: You’ll ensure the market is operating on all cylinders and executing the fundamentals. You’ll also seek new ways to expand the business and serve customers better than the competition.
  • Recruit and train new agents: We're always looking for new talent and need to make sure we're staffed to grow the market. Many times you’ll be the closer on landing top talent.
  • Produce results: Focusing on the process matters, but so do the results. You’ll execute on a day to day and be ultimately assessed by the results you produce. We're looking for someone that's a self-starter, goal oriented, up for a challenge and driven by delighting customers and empowering their teams.


Who You Are
  • Real Estate Leader: You're resourceful, decisive and hold yourself and others accountable for the customer experience. You bring a minimum of two years of experience with a proven track record of leading successful real estate teams.
  • Communicator: You can lead individuals, small and large teams through your writing or presentation skills. You adeptly navigate ambiguity and get to the right career and collaborative outcomes with your teams.
  • Analytical: You've got a nose for numbers and can manage a business. You love technology and can bend it to your will to get the job done
  • Entrepreneur: You're a self-starter and you're constantly looking for ways to grow Redfin’s business and outpace the competition

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Washington, and California.
Base Pay Range: $94,400.00 - 136,300.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
